Pro-Second Amendment
I am committed to defending our Second Amendment right “to keep and bear arms.” As your Senator, I will ensure that, consistent with the Constitution, our Second Amendment right to protect ourselves and our families “shall not be infringed.”
Smaller Government, Lower Taxes
I will work to reduce out-of-control government spending and then reduce taxes. Needless regulations and bureaucracy that stifle economic growth will be a prime target. My life experiences in healthcare, agriculture, and energy dovetail perfectly with the real-world governance that Kansans deserve.
Rural Revitalization
As a farmer and rancher in rural Kansas, I am committed to revitalizing rural Kansas to ensure our children have the opportunity to return to the family farm and earn a living. We must be forward-thinking and look at ways to support our rural communities and allow the can-do Kansas spirit to flourish.
Protect Liberty
As your voice in the Kansas Senate, I will fight to protect and uphold the Constitution of this great nation. I believe that illegal aliens should not receive special benefits. Safeguarding these foundation liberties for all Kansans will always be my priority.
Quality Education
My wife, Deanna, and I have raised two children who both excelled in Kansas public schools. My commitment is for all Kansas children to receive a quality, individualized education to ensure they can reach their full potential and for Kansas public schools to remain among the top performing schools in the nation.
